12/07/10: American Interactive will offer the DOD level one requirement in accelerated certification format (bootcamp) starting third to fourth quarter 2011. This course will include CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications.
12/01/10: American Interactive will open a new training facility in Phoenix the first quarter of 2011 as well adding new and vastly improved lodging for our students.
9/15/09: American Interactive suspends all Cisco training until further notice.
4/24/07: Price increase and change in the length of our CCNP® course scheduled for this fall. CCNP® will become a 13 day course by expanding the program one additional day. The course will run Monday through Saturday including the weekend. The price of this program will also increase to 5995.00 USD without hotel and 6995.00 with hotel and meals. Students who sign up before the increase will lock in the lower rate (June & July classes only). This will also affect all special combo pricing that includes the CCNP® program.
8/15/05 Updated 4/24/07: American Interactive has purchased new equipment for every course. Our Phoenix center will have all new 17" flat panel laptops (that students can take back to their rooms), One 19" flat panel between every two students (all students will feel they are sitting next to the instructor) and new 2300 ansi lumen projectors. For Boston we have teamed up with the AGFA corporation and will be using their top notch private training facilities. For our Cisco® offerings each student has a 2800 series router and a 3550 series switch. On top of that we use real telco equipment in our frame-relay, ISDN and T1 labs. No simulations, you work on the real thing!
8/15/05: More training options available with expanded 'Open Schedule' program. Open Schedule allows small companies or even individual consultants the ability to take our elite training directly through us at our corporate rates. Previously the only way you could take our training without going through one of our training partners was to book an entire class. For that you needed at least 6 or more students. With Open Schedule you can send as few as one student. Now that we are no longer providing certification programs through universities and other training companies we have added far more Open Schedule dates to our schedule.
6/1/05: American Interactive is no longer running any certification programs through other training providers. The only way to get American Interactive training and/or materials is to take one of our courses directly through us. The good news is this will also save you thousands of dollars. We have also added further value to our programs by strengthening our guarantee and exam retake policies to be the best in the industry.
